Lyla crossed the rainbow bridge on 1/28/23 after a courageous battle with cancer about a month after her sixth birthday. She received amazing care at MSPCA-Angell under the care of Dr. Talbott and her amazing team. We were able to spend an extra year with her after her diagnosis and we are grateful for every day we had with her. She was a special dog and made an impression on everyone who met her. She spent her last few months in a wheelchair due to IVDD after her amputation surgery, and she still wanted to play frisbee every chance she could get. She showed us what it means to live life to the fullest and we miss her dearly every single day. Her energy is still felt daily and we will never forget the joy she brought us. RIP Lyla
